Yet another stage of Dagestan Steklo Tara’s facility upgrade plan has been completed. This time, the project involved a reconditioning of one of our two onsite glass melting furnaces. As a result, the furnace’s production output increased from 50,000 to 75,000 tonnes of glass melt per day. While our total productivity went up by 30 %, the related increase in energy consumption was estimated at only 5 %. Under our 2010 facility redevelopment plan, we are looking to upgrade the narrow-neck container plant and build a new container production plant.

On September 17–19, 2009, the Makhachkala Expo Center hosted an inter-regional exhibition, in which Dagestan Steklo Tara, OOO got actively involved. Both the Republic’s leaders and the other visitors and exhibitors expressed their high appreciation of the extensive range of products exhibited by our company and the way they were presented.
